Lately I find myself  giving in and splurging on many products that are well and truly hyped up, the Caudalie Beauty Elixir was one of them. It’s one of those products that everyone talks about and no one has a bad thing to say about it. It’s not really something that has been on my wishlist but just one of those products where I thought, oh, I might try that now. I decided to go for this to use as toner as part of my skincare routine. I’ve been using this morning and evening after I cleanse my face. It feels quite amazing on the skin, almost quite zingy in a way. It’s light, refreshing and leaves you skin feeling soft and looking radiant. What more could you want? The first time I used it I could see why so many people rave about it. Having used it for a few days I started to like it more and more, I found that my moisturiser went on so much smoother and surprisingly my skin does seem to have a nice glow to it. And on the whole it does feel so much smoother.

It’s not exactly the cheapest skincare product I’ve bought, £9.99 for 30ml and if I’m honest I photographed this bottle the day I got, I’ve used it for just over a week and it’s just above the half way point. Am I using it too much? I think I am. I spray it like twice on my face morning and night and I just find myself getting through it so quickly to the point where I now do one spray on my face. Yes I love the product, yes I love how it makes my skin feel but I do just think it’s a tad on the pricey side. I think I might have to go for the 100ml bottle next time, but priced at about £32 I feel like it’s too much of a splurge. I think the smaller bottle is much better for travel or one to have in your hand bag if you need to freshen up your face. It really is a luxury product in my opinion and I won’t lie, it does look pretty on my dressing table.

On the whole I am loving this as you can, just unsure about the price. Seems like an expensive investment. Have you tried any similar products to this? Any that are a bit more budget friendly? Let me know!
